Are you trying to import Ascii files into Tradestation? Here is how you solve this issue in Tradestation:

1. Go to the data directory and find the .DOP file for that data file
2. Open the DOP file with Notepad.
3. Change the text in the file to DATE, TIME, OPEN, HIGH, LOW, CLOSE, VOLUME
4. Click on File – Save As
5. Change the ”Save as type” to ”All files (*.*)”
6. Change the Encoding from ”Unicode” to ”ANSI”
7. Click Save
