Have you also gotten the error message ”0 is not a valid floating point” in Tradestation while trying to use the Walk forward optimizer in Tradestation? It isn’t easy to find a solution to this and the support at Tradestation hasn’t been very helpful either…

Solution

Anyway, here is a solution to the problem. What you need to do is to open the WFO app and then go to “Setup” and  “Test Criteria Settings”. There you need to change whatever is in the box market below to 1.
